Tony House

For more than 35 years, Tony House has been the passionate force behind a series of unique, elite basketball programs that have helped thousands of athletes push the limits of their abilities.

House, who played high-level lacrosse and basketball as a youth and teen in Nepean, won provincial and national pee wee titles. He helped Greenbank Middle School win a Carleton Board basketball championship.

Widely recognized as one of the top coaches in Canada, House has won multiple national and provincial championships. In 1989, he co-founded the Rautins-House Basketball School – Ottawa’s first specialty co-ed basketball camp. The school later expanded to Toronto, London and Regina. House was also instrumental in reviving the National Capital All-Star Classic, which he continues to run. In addition, he established the Canada Topflight Academy (CTA), a premier basketball prep program which also includes CTA West team in Calgary. Due to his success and connections gained with CTA, doors have opened for basketball players to participate in the NCAA and USports.

The National Junior Circuit, National Senior Circuit and The Platinum Circuit were created under his watch.

In addition to his basketball resume, House has served as Ringside for Youth committee member, co-founded the Kaleidoscope of Hope Charity
