Richard Fleming

Richard Fleming was a passionate supporter of endless Nepean sporting and cultural enterprises.

He served on the Nepean Parks and Recreation’s Advisory Committee, was a director for the Nepean-Ottawa Diving Club and a director for the Nepean Museum, but the cause closest to his heart was his passion for all things rugby.

From 1992-2007 Fleming was president of the Twin Elm Rugby Park, the top rugby facility in Eastern Ontario, drawing numerous provincial, national and international competitions to the region.

Fleming passed away in November 2022.
