Mark Kosmos

Originally from Maryland, Mark fell in love with Canada while playing in the Canadian Football League with Montreal, Hamilton and Ottawa.

A standout as a linebacker, he was the Eastern Conference defensive player of the year and won an astounding four Grey Cup titles during his eight-year CFL career, including the Ottawa Rough Riders victories in 1973 and 1976.

In retirement, Mark set up shop in the city, the founder of Local Heroes Bar and Grill
