Duane Jones

Duane was one of the first Nepean swim coaches and founder of Ottawa YMCA Olympians in 1965. He won the Canadian Excellence in Coaching award in 2011 having coached more than 8,000 athletes for more than 55 years, including three Nepean Sports Wall-of Famers to Olympic excellence. Duane was winner of 11 Canadian Master Swim Championships while coaching with Carleton University from 1984-1990.
