Darren Pang

Darren didn’t let size get in the way of his goaltending dreams.

Standing only 5-5, Darren rose up the ranks from the Nepean Raiders to the Belleville Bulls to the Ottawa 67’s, where he led the club to the 1984 Memorial Cup title. He was named top goaltender and was part of the tournament All-Star team.

Against all odds, Darren made it all the way to the NHL, where he played for the Chicago Blackhawks and was named to the NHL’s rookie all-star team in 1988.

In retirement, Pang can be seen and heard as an NHL analyst based in St. Louis.
